This prevents you from accidentally entering grades for students that are not assigned an item in the course. For students to whom the material is not assigned, the grade cell is grayed-out and un-editable. To access all materials in the course, filter to All members.The menu will display the number of members in each group in parenthesis. Score cannot be created as a scale by the teacher.If scores are to be used for assessing work, the Admin is required to include this as a scale. ![]() Scales created by "Admin" cannot be modified. The Created column displays the role of the user who created the scale.The first tab, "Assessment scale" displays the available scales in the course, including custom scales made by the course teacher. ![]() In the Gradebook/Assessment Record overview, the assessment weight can be viewed by hovering over the element header and will appear in the tooltip. For example, one assignment might be multiplied twice while another one counts three times toward an average. The option for weighting assessments allows you to increase the value for individual assignments. Unless weighting is utilized, all are calculated as a percentage (100%). When assessment weighting is enabled, you can enter a numerical weight/value to assignments, tests, or tasks. The user can choose what data is included in the CSV file when selecting the option to "Export to CSV file" from the Gradebook page. When average for participants is enabled, an additional tab titled "Average and count" will be visible in assessment record. The teacher can turn on weighting on single assessments, average for participants and course average for each assessment such as an assignment or test.
